For more than 10 years, the mandula has been known in fishing circles. Its name comes from the Russian colloquial language, where this word denotes something that does not have a specific name. Initially, this lure was invented for catching zander in rivers with a strong current, and in some regions it even earned the nickname “zander killer”. However, over time, it turned out that the mandula is also effective for catching other predatory fish, both in rivers and lakes, thus becoming a universal jig lure suitable for a wide variety of predators.
The mandula has countless modifications, so you can find a suitable model for any volume of water and fish species. It is adaptable to different regions and conditions.
Advantages and disadvantages:
The only disadvantage of the mandula is its tendency to accumulate bottom debris. However, excellent performance and frequent catches completely outweigh this small drawback.
